ISKCON Punjabi Bagh organized its annual Jagannth rath yatra on 10th Aug. This yatra is one of the biggest festivals of the year organized by the temple, attended by thousands of devotees, who chant, dance and pull the chariots of the lord, in a spirit of taking Lord Jagannath, who is none other than Lord Krishna, back to Vrindavan. Lord Jagannth, along with his brother Baladev and sister Subhadra were seated on a huge chariot, with Srila Prabhupada at the front. The procession started from Paschim Vihar and concluded in Punjabi Bagh Janamashtami park. The devotees distributed lord's three-fold mercy – Harinaam, Prabhupada books and Prasadam to all attendees. The passerbys were amazed by the grandeur of the festival and the beauty of Lord Jagannth, who is the all attractive supreme personality of Godhead Krishna, in a special form, with big eyes, throwing glances of mercy to even far-away people, who are attending the rath yatra.
