Bhajan Clubbing Debuted at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh – A Fusion of Spirituality and Science!

On Sunday, 23rd November, ISKCON Punjabi Bagh’s Youth Forum made history by hosting its first-ever “Bhajan Clubbing” event in collaboration with the Institute of Science and Spirituality, the science wing of ISKCON Delhi. The initiative aimed to blend modern trends with timeless traditions, encouraging youth to embrace the Indian spiritual way of finding peace. The objective of this event was to take congregational chanting to the next level by measuring relaxation and calmness through wearable EEG devices. EEG, a non-invasive technology widely used to track brain patterns, helped quantify the stress-relieving impact of Bhajan and Kirtan.

This pioneering attempt laid the foundation for a scientific approach to the healing potential of devotional music, proving that spirituality and science can harmonise beautifully. The event was a resounding success, leaving participants both energised and enlightened. Truly, a milestone in making ancient wisdom relevant for today’s youth!
