Free Prasadam & Book Distribution Seva Begins at Guru Gobind Singh Hospital

ISKCON Punjabi Bagh recently began a new outreach initiative at Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, on the kind invitation of Dr. Satyendra Kumar, Medical Superintendent at the hospital. The program was formally inaugurated in the presence of senior doctors and staff and aims to serve patients and attendants, especially in the absence of a canteen facility. On its very first day, over 400 plates of nutritious khichdi prasadam were distributed within an hour, served in eco‑friendly leaf bowls. Alongside this, the Hare Krishna maha‑mantra resounded through the premises, and Srila Prabhupada’s books, including the Bhagavad‑gita As It Is, were displayed for distribution.

The initiative witnessed heartfelt participation and appreciation from hospital staff, patients, and visitors, with authorities expressing a desire for the seva to continue regularly as a source of nourishment and spiritual support.
