A Distinctive Seminar on the Vedic Cosmos

ISKCON Youth Forum organised a unique seminar on Vedic Cosmology on Thursday, May 25, 2023 for students pursuing the field of science professionally or academically and those having a curious scientific bend of mind.

The seminar was taken by veteran researcher in the field of Vedic Cosmology, HG Pavanesvara Prabhu, who has taken multiple seminars on this topic at Atlanta, Seattle, Kansas, Columbus and Flemington.

HG Pavanesvara Prabhu holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from IISc Bangaluru. He is a full time monk and teaches spiritual courses like Bhakti Vaibhava in ISKCON.

After years of research in the field of Vedic Cosmology, he developed a few models over time, which finally led him to develop a 3D working model of the Vedic Cosmos. The model uses gears to show planetary motion at different velocity and explain scientific phenomena like day and night, seasons, eclipses and relative motion of the planets. The students were delighted to have the association of such an eminent personality having the experience, caliber, knack and in-depth expert knowledge of the subject.
