The annual congregation trip of ISKCON Punjabi Bagh is the most awaited spiritual retreat of the year. Preparation and excitement begins weeks before the scheduled departure. This year, a large group of over 400 congregation devotees came together for the retreat in Haridwar & Rishikesh from 8th to 11th June. The devotees were enthralled to have the company and association of many stalwart devotees like Rukmini Krishna Prabhu, Murli Krishna Prabhu, Vishnu Vahan Prabhu and Sundar Krishna Prabhu.

The yatra entailed all tastes of spiritual engagement – visits to several places of pastimes, baths at the devotionally popular Hari ki Pauri, visit to the Ram Jhula, Kankhal and Shukratal, invigorating and inspiring talks by Rukmini Krishna Prabhu and Murli Krishna Prabhu, soul-stirring dramas on Ajamila & Ganga appearance by The Krishna Balaram players theatre team. The devotees also attended the mystical Ganga aarti at Hari ki Pauri in the midst of a powerful and enchanting prayers by the priests.

Ecstatic sankirtans , enthusiastic book distribution and sumptuous prasadam were the lifelines of this unforgettable retreat. We are already looking forward awaiting the congregation retreat of 2024!
