Balarama Purnima Celebrated with Grandeur at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh

Like every year, ISKCON Punjabi Bagh served as the heart of Balarama Purnima celebrations in Delhi, drawing devotees from across the city to the only temple in Delhi with the beautiful deities of Sri Sri Krishna Balarama. The festivities began early in the morning with the temple adorned in stunning floral decorations to honor the auspicious occasion. Following the morning prayers and japa, devotees immersed themselves in a two-hour Balarama Katha, glorifying the personality and pastimes of Lord Balarama. The celebrations reached a joyful peak with the abhishek of the deities, performed amidst vibrant sankirtan and the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of devotees. The festival concluded with a sumptuous grain-free feast prasadam served to all. Balarama Purnima continues to hold a special place in the hearts of the ISKCON Punjabi Bagh community, as it provides a cherished opportunity to welcome and host many senior devotees who make a special effort to visit the temple on this sacred day.
