Brick Laying Ceremony for the Punjabi Bagh Temple Expansion Project

A special brick‑laying ceremony marked a key milestone in the ISKCON Punjabi Bagh Temple Expansion Project, as the first walls were erected around the altar and deity kitchen areas. Although Deputy Chief Minister Shri Parvesh Verma and local MP Ms Kamaljeet Sehrawat had laid a few bricks earlier, this ceremony invited the primary contributors to participate personally. Nearly 500 state‑of‑the‑art AAC bricks were painted with family names and lovingly placed by devotees themselves.

The first bricks were offered in the names of Srila Prabhupada and HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, and were laid by HH Bhaktivedanta Rukmini Krishna Goswami Maharaj (then Rukmini Krishna Prabhu), in the presence of senior devotees and volunteers—making it a heartfelt and memorable moment for the community.
