The Teenage Forum at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh had a mood of festivities when two of its members were appointed the students heads at the same school. Nikhilesh and Priyal Aggarwal from VSPK International School were recently selected as the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively for the school.
Both Nikhilesh and Priyal are students and practitioners of Bhakti Yoga. Their daily regime entails reading The Bhagavad Gita As It Is, offering morning prayers, deity worship and Japa meditation of the Hare Krsna Mantra. Nikhilesh and Priyal attributed their success and achievement at the school to their spiritual practices at home. Their spiritual practices helped them build their communication and leadership skills along with many other aspired qualities.
Nikhilesh pointed out how teachers at his school have been very appreciative of his sloka recitation every morning. This is an initiative now being extended across all classes in the school.
A proud moment for the ISKCON Punjabi Bagh community and a testimonial to the power of Bhakti Yoga.
