On 31st May, the devotees at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh observed the festival of Nirjala Ekadishi. A day when we all focus without any distraction, on our spiritual practices. No distraction also means no food and no water! A day dedicated to only Sravanam (hearing about the Lord and his creations) and Kirtanam (chanting his names). To do so, devotees gathered together in different groups and spent the day just chanting together. We started early at 5 AM and went on for hours. Some chanted 16 rounds (27000 chants) and some chanted 64 rounds (over one lac chants). Needless to mention this lifted each one up to experience happiness like never before!
