Cooking as Devotion — IGF’s Bhoga Cooking Competition

The ISKCON Girls Forum (IGF) at Punjabi Bagh recently organized cooking competition, beautifully transforming the everyday art of cooking into a meditative expression of devotion. Participants enthusiastically prepared a wide variety of sattvic dishes, showcasing the principle of engaging one’s natural talents in loving service to Lord Krishna.

The event was thoughtfully judged by two senior devotees from the congregation, who evaluated each offering not only for its taste and visual presentation but also for the devotional consciousness infused into the cooking process. The event concluded on an inspiring note, reminding everyone present that when performed with mindfulness and a Krishna‑centered attitude, even ordinary household activities can become meaningful offerings of bhakti.
