First GEMS Summer Programme Engages Teens in Devotional Learning

Making the most of the summer holidays, the GEMS Teenage Forum of ISKCON Punjabi Bagh successfully conducted its first-ever Summer Programme throughout the month of June. Held every Sunday, the program brought together 20 teenagers for a meaningful blend of spiritual learning, devotional practices, and enriching association.

Each day began early with the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra, followed by Darshan Arati and Guru Puja, setting a spiritually uplifting tone. The camp featured insightful sessions by HG Sundar Krishna Prabhu and HG Murali Krishna Prabhu, who addressed practical and thought-provoking topics relevant to teens, like Does God Exist?, Atheism and Theism, Relationship with God, Balancing Krishna Consciousness with Studies, and Devotional Challenges in Student Life.

A highlight of the program was the hands-on training in deity worship and bhoga offering, helping participants connect deeply with devotional practices. Through discussions, activities, and association, the teens developed stronger spiritual understanding and lasting devotional habits, making the inaugural summer programme a truly enriching experience.
