ISKCON Punjabi Bagh Congregation’s trip to the South

A group of 160 devotees from ISKCON Punjabi Bagh travelled to Vishakhapatnam, for a yatra exploring places of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s pastimes. The group was guided by HG Rukmini Krsna Das and HG Murali Krishna Das. Keeping their base as Vishakhapatnam, devotees travelled through the day to Simachalam, Kurma Ksetra and Rajahmundry respectively. The last day was spent in Vishakhapatnam exploring the local temple campus and city. Simachalam is home to Laxmi Varaha Narsimha Dev temple, Kurma Kshetra is the holy place where Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu met Vasudeva Vipra and Kurma Brahman, and Rajahmundry is home to the holy site where Mahaprabhu interacted with Ramananda Raya. The devotees were also addressed by HG Samba Prabhu and HG Nitai Sevani Mataji during their stay in Vishakhapatnam.
