ISKCON Punjabi Bagh unites to deliver its Book Marathon

For many years, ISKCON Punjabi Bagh remained among the top temples globally for its extraordinary Bhagavad Gita marathon scores. This year seems to be no exception. The temple community—residents, congregation members, youth, brahmacharis, and leadership—collectively pledged to distribute at least 2,50,000 Bhagavad Gitas. Throughout the month, devotees poured their energy into the marathon, dedicating long hours to raising sponsorships and engaging in one‑to‑one Gita distribution.

Sankirtan teams and book distribution parties fanned out across West Delhi’s busiest public markets, including Rajouri Garden, Janakpuri, and Tilak Nagar, ensuring that the wisdom of the Gita reached as many hands as possible. By the close of December, the temple was well within reach of its ambitious target, fuelled by an inspiring spirit of teamwork, enthusiasm, and unwavering devotion to Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
