Kartik at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh: Magnificent and Sweet

ISKCON Punjabi Bagh’s community came together in huge numbers to celebrate the month of Kartik. The celebrations were bigger than any other year before – over 45,000 lamps were offered during deep daan in the evenings, over 11,000 leaf cups of morning mangla kheer were distributed, more than 400 devotees attended the mangla arti each day, over 80 prabhat pheris were organized, over 100 deep daan programs were organized at different locations across West Delhi, and Palki Yatra for Gaur Nitai was taken out in the temple courtyard for 10 days in the month. Among all such celebrations, Govardhan Puja, Deepavali, and Srila Prabhupada’s disappearance day festivities weren’t missed out. Such celebrations necessitated joyful participation and service from each member of the devotee community.
