Kartik trip to Braj!

Like every year, ISKCON Punjabi Bagh’s congregation devotees spent a part of their Kartik in the most holy land of Braj. Over 500 devotees made their journey to Yaawat, Govardhan and Barsana over 3 days (18th to 20th November). The yatra commenced with the visit to Radharani’s place of stay after her marriage in Yaawat. The devotees danced for hours in the streets of Yaawat, marking an energetic start to the trip.

The next day all devotees circumambulated the most dear devotee of the lord – Sri Govardhan. The evenings were filled with relishing kathas by HG Murli Krishna Prabhu and HG Rukmini Krsna Prabhu. One of the highlights of the trip was a 2 hour drama biographing the life of King Chitraketu enacted by Krishna Balaram players – the temple’s inhouse theatre troupe.
