Pānihāṭi Dhāma BACE brings home Gaura-Nitai!

2nd June marked a glorious day for the Pānihāṭi Dhāma BACE [a remote youth centre of ISKCON Punjabi Bagh]. The BACE and its devotees welcomed the beautiful deities of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai on this day. Gaura Nitai are the incarnation of Krsna and Balarama who appeared 500 years ago in the holy land of Mayapur and Ekchakra.

The day kick-started with welcoming the Deities and devotees with a roaring Kirtana. This was followed by enlightening talks by several devotees – HG Murali Kṛṣṇa Prabhu, HG Sundara Kṛṣṇa Prabhu, HG Premānjana Prabhu, HG Paramabrahma Prabhu and HG Visnu Vāhana Prabhu. This was followed by the surreal Abhisheka ceremony of Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaura Nitai amidst melodious Hare Kṛṣṇa Kirtana and Vaishnava Bhajans. Beats of the Mridanga, rounds of Karatalas, and sounds of Harmonium and Shankha filled the surroundings.

The Deities were then dressed elegantly by the Pujaris before they gave Their first Darshans while accepting Gaura Aratik in the middle of a surcharged atmosphere, with devotees singing and dancing their hearts out. The program concluded with a scrumptious multi-cuisine feast. The devotees soaking wet from sweat caused by non-stop dancing relished and honoured prasadam up to the necks.

A day like never before was made possible due to the desire and efforts of the devotees at the BACE guided by HG Vaikuntha Vraj Prabhu.
