Two special performances were put on by students of Hare Krishna Sunday School on the theme of “Samsya se Samadhan Tak(From Problem to solution)”. The first performance was Nukkad Natak by kids and second was a dance drama presentation. After a 2 year hiatus (owing to Covid), the students at the Hare Krsna Sunday School had the opportunity again to participate in the Janamashtmi festivities.
Students aged 5-15 at the school spent several weeks before Janamshtmi to prepare for the performances. On the eve of Janamashtami, in front of an audience of hundreds, the students presented the acts. The performance also served as a deeper way for the young kids to connect with Krishna and his teachings in a relevant, practical manner.
Hare Krsna Sunday School at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh is a value driven institution that bases its practical teachings on the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.
