The special festival of joy

Ram Navami, a special festival for the devotees was made even more special at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh due to the presence of HH Indradyumna Swami Maharaja. The meaning of Rama is ‘source of all pleasure’ and that’s what the festival is all about, giving joy & pleasure to the hearts of all devotees.

The dear disciple of our Srila Prabhupada, HH Indradyumna Swami Maharaja started the day with Kirtan in his melodious voice followed by a wonderful Ram Katha. Lord Rama is known as Maryada Purushottam and his life presents wonderful teachings for all of us. Maharaja also stated that Sri Sri Radha Radhika Raman at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh is the most beautiful deity in the entire world. After the class Maharaja initiated a devotee from ISKCON Punjabi Bagh, before absorbing everyone’s mind and heart in the beautiful Kirtan that he led.

While devotees craved and pleaded Maharaja to continue Kirtan, Maharaja promised to come back again really soon. Maharaja fondly spoke to many children and blessed devotees while on his way back. We at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh already miss Maharaja’s association and are eagerly waiting for him to return to his most beloved deities
