Statistics suggest that there were over 20 lakh devotees at the Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra this year! We can proudly declare that we too had our representatives amongst those 20 lakh. 50 glorious devotees from ISKCON Punjabi Bagh were fortunate to have participated in the Jaganath Puri Rath Yatra (18th to 22nd June). An experience of a lifetime, the devotees were left spellbound and mesmerized seeing the lord on his mammoth rath among a sea of his devotees.
If this wasn’t enough, the devotees also had the fortune to tour the entire holy town of Puri. They visited several places where Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu performed his pastimes – Tota Gopinath, Gambhira, Siddh Bakul and Alarnath. The devotees also had the opportunity to bathe at Shwetganga, Indradyumna Sarovar, Bindu Sarovar and Mahodadhi. The entourage returned with their hearts full, increased love for the lord and lots of joy to share with all!
