Bhumi Pujan Ceremony marks expansion of ISKCON Punjabi Bagh Temple

ISKCON Punjabi Bagh initiated its temple expansion project with Bhumi Pujan ceremony on 18th May. The ceremony which marked an important milestone in the temple’s history was attended by several senior devotees including HH Guru Prasad Swami (ACBSP and Chairman, GBC), HG Shree Dham Prabhu (ACBSP) and HG Sarvardik Prabhu (ACBSP). The event featured vedic ceremonies such as Bhumi Pujan, Vastu Homa, and Ananta Sesa Sthapana, along with talks by senior devotees.

The temple’s expansion is a testament to the growth of ISKCON Punjabi Bagh, which began humbly in 1984 in a small garage. Over the years, the temple community has grown significantly and has contributed to various spiritual, social, and environmental initiatives on a global scale. The event also served as a tribute to His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja. His teachings and guidance continue to inspire the community to expand their compassion and service to humanity.
