HH Bhaktivedanta Rukmani Krishna Goswami Maharaj – A day of emotions for ISKCON Punjabi Bagh

14th April 2026 became a truly historic and emotional day for the entire ISKCON Punjabi Bagh community, marking the day His Grace Rukmini Krishna Das accepted sannyasa and became His Holiness Bhaktivedanta Rukmani Krishna Goswami Maharaj. What began years ago in a small garage has grown, under his dedicated guidance, into a thriving spiritual community of nearly 2,000 families, built patiently from the ground up.

Known for his deep classes, humble nature, and warm personal relationships, Maharaj has touched countless lives over the past two decades. On the sacred day of the disappearance of his spiritual master, HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, Rukmini Krishna Prabhu accepted sannyasa from HH Guru Prasad Swami Maharaj in Vrindavan, in the presence of devotees from across India and especially from ISKCON Punjabi Bagh. For the community, this was a day of immense pride, gratitude, and emotion—a moment they will always remember as the day their leader embraced the highest order while dedicating himselg to Srila Prabhupada, our acharyas, and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
