ISKCON Punjabi Bagh’s annual congregation trip to Nashik

Around 300 devotees from ISKCON Punjabi Bagh’s congregation set out for Nashik as part of their annual Yatra from 8th to 14th June. Away from the heat of Delhi, Nashik was a respite for the body and the soul. Devotees visited many sacred and significant places including Rama Kund – the place where Lord Rama used to bathe during his exile in the forest, Shri Lakshman Ji Temple – the place where Sri Lakshaman severed Surpanakha’s nose, Sita Gufa – the cave where Lord Rama asked Lakshman to hide mother Sita while fighting the army of Khara Dushan, Sri Venkateshbalaji temple, Sri Kapaleshwar Mahadev temple, Brahmagiri temple and many more.

The trip was nourished by the association of Rukmini Krishna Prabhu who every year leads the yatra for the Punjabi Bagh congregation. Devotees returned inspired to follow the footsteps and principles exemplified by Lord Sri Ram.
